Program Overview
Urban Unity is advanced dog training class in Calgary for dogs and their humans who have a solid foundation and are ready to take their skills to the next level.
In this 20-hour program (10 × 2-hour classes), Cat will guide and support you and your dog as you put your training into practice in real-world settings like parks, transit areas, and busy public spaces across the city.
You and your trusted sidekick can expect a dynamic and engaging learning experience where you’ll strengthen communication, build reliable obedience in distracting environments, and develop the teamwork needed to navigate real-life situations with confidence.
By the end of the course, you and your dog will be a calm, connected team ready to move comfortably through busy places like parks, shopping districts, transit hubs, and other everyday public environments.
Classes take place at various public venues (inside and outside) around Calgary to give you hands-on experience where it matters most.

What You Will Learn
Public Skills
You and your dog will learn public skills like walking through crowds, ignoring food and people, settling in tight or noisy spaces, navigating elevators and stairs, and remaining focused in high-distraction contexts.
Obedience & Manners
ou and your dog will advance your obedience and manners in busy public settings, refining existing skills like “stay” and loose-leash walking in high-distraction environments. And of course, you’ll develop new skills along the way.
Support & Education
You’ll receive continued support for behavioural challenges like overexuberant greetings, excitability, and leash pulling.
Teamwork
You and your dog will continue to strengthen your relationship and build your teamwork (the dreamwork!) by overcoming obstacles and navigating new challenges together in public spaces.

Who Can Attend
Teams who have successfully completed Therapy Tails 1, Beyond Boundaries, Adolescent Ascent or Puppy Potential
Price & Duration
Price: $749 + GST/20 hour program
Program Includes:
20 hours (10 × 2.0 hour field trips)
Location
Classes are held at a variety of indoor and outdoor public venues throughout Calgary. Details will be provided closer to the start of the course.
Vaccinations
Dogs must be up-to-date on their vaccinations (Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella) to attend classes.
