Puppy Potential | Trusted Puppy Training in SW Calgary
The Art and Heart of Puppy Raising in Calgary
Program Overview
Puppy Potential is a comprehensive training and socialization program in SW Calgary.
Over 10 weeks, Cat will guide you and your puppy through this vital stage of development.
Expect an immersive learning experience focused on social development, resiliency, confidence building, obedience, manners, aggression prevention, and real-time support for common challenges like biting, zoomies, and housetraining.
At the heart of Puppy Potential is Pooch Peacebuilding, a dynamic, real-time framework that serves as your canine command centre, helping you tune into your puppy’s experience and continuously support their growth as you learn to navigate the world together with confidence.
Puppy Potential is about connection, hands-on learning, and raising a confident, capable family member.
What You’ll Learn
Socialization
This intentional and dynamic process teaches your puppy to understand personal space, read the room, and adapt their communication style to dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and play styles. Your puppy will learn vital social skills like consent, mirroring, and play regulation.
Basic Obedience
You’ll learn cues like sit, down, go behind, side, say hello, touch, drop, relaxation cycles, and follow me, distraction optimization, plus leash walking, recall, and everyday strategies for handling (collars, paws, grooming, body and more).
Bite Inhibition
An essential skill every puppy needs to develop. Your pup will learn to use their mouth gently and safely with both humans and other dogs.
Manners & Problem Prevention
Your puppy will learn to interact calmly with people and dogs. We will help you prevent issues before they start. Things like resource guarding, excessive barking, fast eating, and more. This is nuanced, real-world guidance you won’t find in a book or online.

Real Puppies. Real Potential.
“We’re just wrapping up our puppy course with Cat from ImPAWSible Possible, and it’s been fantastic.
Cat was recommended to us through AARCS, and she’s provided so much valuable support—not just in class, but with specific puppy behaviour challenges along the way.
She has a unique and deeply informed understanding of dog behaviour, and her calm, natural approach creates a safe, positive space where dogs are eager to learn. You can tell she truly understands and respects each dog as an individual.
Highly recommend Cat to anyone looking for thoughtful, effective training.
Much appreciated, Cat.
Love, Coco 🐶.”
