Therapy Tails Level 3 | Advanced Therapy Dog Class

Program Overview:

Therapy Tails Level 3 – Public Skills is designed to prepare you and your dog for successfully navigating public spaces as part of your journey to becoming a certified therapy or service dog team. Throughout 8 field trips, you will apply your training in real-world settings, receiving expert guidance to ensure success in these dynamic environments.

By the end of the class, your dog will be equipped with the skills to behave confidently and appropriately in public spaces, such as crowded malls, hospitals, schools, and other professional settings. With a strong focus on public access protocols and real-time problem-solving, you'll be prepared to handle the challenges of working in busy, real-world environments.

Dogs and handlers who have completed Therapy Tails Level 2 – Working Skills

Price & Duration:

• Price: $399 + GST

• Duration: 12 hours (8 x 1.5-hour field trips)

Location:

Classes are held at a variety of indoor and outdoor public venues throughout Calgary. Details will be provided closer to the start of the course.

Vaccinations:

Dogs must be up-to-date on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (or have current titres) to attend.
