Reactive Reset | Reactive Dog Workshop
Get Relief and Hands on Tools for Managing Reactivity in Calgary SW
Program Overview
Reactive Reset is a focused outdoor workshop for reactive dogs in SW Calgary.
In this 2.5 hour hands on workshop, Cat will guide you and your dog through the fundamentals of successfully navigating life with a dog who has a lot to say about the world around them, or is perhaps very unsure of themselves and others and is struggling to cope.
Expect a fast-paced, practical learning experience that equips you with tools you can start applying immediately to reduce outbursts, calm your dog, and begin building confidence and connection.
This program takes a whole-system approach to reactivity, considering all the layers and dynamics that contribute to your dog’s behavior. This is not a quick-fix class, but rather a workshop that sets you and your dog on the path to meaningful and sustainable transformation.
Reactive Reset is appropriate for dogs who are reactive, shy, fearful, or overexcitable on the leash, and who can remain calm when other dogs or people are roughly half a football field to a full football field away. For dogs with more intense reactivity or aggression, we recommend our full Feisty Fido program.

Real Stories. Real Change.
“This reactivity course was a complete eye-opener. I learned so much—especially about the little things I was doing without realizing it. The biggest shift was starting to see things from my dog’s perspective. It changed our relationship, built more trust, and gave me the tools I needed to support my dog in a whole new way. It’s the first approach I’ve found that truly looks at the whole dog—not just the problem.”
— Breanna E.
“After years of traditional training that left my dogs ‘well-mannered’ but shut down, I knew I needed something different. We adopted a reactive Doberman/Pitbull mix, and Cat’s program changed everything. The methods are simple, thoughtful, and genuinely life-changing. For the first time, I feel hopeful—and like my dog and I are finally on the same team.”

“I can’t recommend Cat enough. Her training completely transformed Barry’s behavior and well-being. After being diagnosed with double elbow dysplasia, Barry became reactive due to pain, but Cat helped me understand the underlying issues. Over time, Barry became more secure in stressful situations, and I learned to recognize triggers I hadn’t noticed before. Cat is incredibly knowledgeable and takes a holistic approach to the human-dog relationship. I’m so grateful for our time together and look forward to future group classes.”
— Lindsey J.
“I want to share how happy I am with Bianco's behaviour after being consistent with the knowledge that Cat gave us in the lessons she provided for reactive dogs. Bianco is no longer barking through my neighbours' fence. Bianco is enjoying walking and not pulling on his leash. I am proud of him and even myself for persevering in his learning. Moreover, my other dog, Lulu, is gaining more confidence in herself while walking. We are still working with her, but she is doing 70% better.”
