Feisty Fido Breakthrough | Aggressive Dog Training
Real Change for Reactive and Aggressive Dogs in Calgary
Program Overview:
Feisty Fido – Breakthrough (formerly Canine Catalyst) is a 10-hour deep dive designed for dogs who lunge, bark, growl, or bite at people, dogs, or other triggers. This program is for dog owners committed to achieving lasting change in their dog’s behaviour.
The journey begins with a 2-hour, human-only class where you'll gain clarity, understanding, and confidence about why your dog is reacting the way they are — and how to move forward in a practical, empowering way. You'll learn an integrative approach for understanding your dog's reactions in real-time, helping you better understand their behaviour and how to guide them towards more socially appropriate and confident choices on their own.
This program is all about transformation. True change doesn’t happen through surface-level fixes; it’s about shifting the way your dog experiences the world and how they respond to it — from the inside out.
Over the next four 2-hour classes (held indoors and outdoors, weather permitting), our aggression and reactivity specialists (aka dog nerds!) will help you apply everything you've learned in real-life situations, guiding you through the process of helping your dog become more confident, resilient, and less reactive.
Feisty Fido – Breakthrough is the best option for owners who want a comprehensive, structured approach to aggressive or reactive behaviour. No quick fixes — just deep, lasting change.

Real Stories. Real Change.
“This reactivity course was a complete eye-opener. I learned so much—especially about the little things I was doing without realizing it. The biggest shift was starting to see things from my dog’s perspective. It changed our relationship, built more trust, and gave me the tools I needed to support my dog in a whole new way. It’s the first approach I’ve found that truly looks at the whole dog—not just the problem.”
— Breanna E.
“After years of traditional training that left my dogs ‘well-mannered’ but shut down, I knew I needed something different. We adopted a reactive Doberman/Pitbull mix, and Cat’s program changed everything. The methods are simple, thoughtful, and genuinely life-changing. For the first time, I feel hopeful—and like my dog and I are finally on the same team.”
— Gretchen L.
“I can’t recommend Cat enough. Her training completely transformed Barry’s behavior and well-being. After being diagnosed with double elbow dysplasia, Barry became reactive due to pain, but Cat helped me understand the underlying issues. Over time, Barry became more secure in stressful situations, and I learned to recognize triggers I hadn’t noticed before. Cat is incredibly knowledgeable and takes a holistic approach to the human-dog relationship. I’m so grateful for our time together and look forward to future group classes.”
— Lindsey J.
“I want to share how happy I am with Bianco's behaviour after being consistent with the knowledge that Cat gave us in the lessons she provided for reactive dogs. Bianco is no longer barking through my neighbours' fence. Bianco is enjoying walking and not pulling on his leash. I am proud of him and even myself for persevering in his learning. Moreover, my other dog, Lulu, is gaining more confidence in herself while walking. We are still working with her, but she is doing 70% better.”
— Jessica B.
