Our program, led by Cat, who has been actively involved in the therapy dog and service dog communities since 2013, is intended to deepen the human-canine bond and help dogs and their owners in reaching their full working potential.
Cat, who assesses for two of Calgary’s four therapy dog organizations, and who used to head the puppy program in Calgary for one of Alberta’s leading service dog organizations brings extensive knowledge, expertise and passion to therapy dog and service dog training.
Our program applies a “whole team” (dog and owner) approach to training, incorporating cutting-edge, research-driven methodologies into our curriculums that seamlessly integrate biology, sensory-motor development, emotional regulation, relationship dynamics, individual traits, attachment, resilience, and communication into the learning process.

Therapy Dog Classes in Calgary
Our therapy dog training is structured into four levels. Puppies aged 12 to 18 weeks start with Therapy Tots, while everyone else starts with Therapy Tails 1 – Foundations. Classes are held inside at the North Glenmore Park Community Association unless otherwise noted.
