Therapy Tails 3, is a specialized dog training class in Calgary designed to support therapy, service dog, and assisted animal therapy teams in developing and refining the skills required for public access and work. This program is exclusively for graduates of Therapy Tails 1 and Therapy Tails 2, ready to elevate their training to the next level.
Therapy Tails 3, runs seasonally every spring and fall. On your 8 week (12 hour) journey you will elevate and refine your existing skill in various public indoor and outdoor settings, such as malls, stores, transit, urban areas, pathways, and coffee shops. Each week, new skills relevant to public working environments will be introduced, accompanied by dynamic processes that can be applied in any public or working scenario to ensure your dog is public access ready.
In this class, expect challenges that will test not only your trust but also your dog’s emotional, cognitive, adaptive capacity, obedience, manners, and social skills. As you and your dog work towards the ultimate goal of testing and certifying your service or therapy dog, Therapy Tails 3 promises to push both you and your dog to your limits.

Vaccinations
To attend classes, dogs must be fully vaccinated or have completed titre testing (uploaded at point of registration).
Age Requirements
This program is for graduates of Therapy Tails 2 ages 9 months and up.
