Rescue Ready is a specialized rescue dog training class in Calgary, created to support rescue dogs their owners in establishing a strong foundation for a happy life together.
Over the course of 8 weeks, you will gain the skills, knowledge, and support needed to meet the unique needs of your rescue dog, empowering them to thrive in your home. Throughout the program, you will get to know your dog as a unique individual shaped by a complex interplay of nature and nurture. You will learn how to communicate effectively, and to facilitate a secure attachment with you, which will help to prevent or thwart the development of behaviours such as separation anxiety, jealousy and protective behaviours. Strategies for developmental or socialization delays, building confidence, resiliency and teaching essential life skills such as recall and leash walking are all a part of this multidimensional program. Join us for Rescue Ready in Calgary and embark on a journey that will strengthen the bond between you and your rescue dog while setting them up for a lifetime of success.
Note: This program is suitable for socially oriented rescue dogs; those with reactive rescue dogs should consider our Feisty Fido 1 program.

To attend classes, dogs must be fully vaccinated or have completed titre testing (uploaded at point of registration).
