Feisty Fido 2, is an advanced class in Calgary for reactive dogs who want to have more fun. Now that you’ve mastered the fundamentals in Feisty Fido and invested your valuable time and energy with your reactive dog, you’re witnessing the fruits of your labor.
And yet, navigating real-world scenarios with a myriad of unpredictable variables such as visitors to your home, head on approaches or off-leash dogs on walks, blind corners, and eager greeters remains a challenge.

In this 6-week outdoor program held in a variety of public outdoor venues in Calgary, you’ll develop the skills and cultivate the confidence to lead your dog with love in the midst of busy urban settings. Rest assured, we’ll start nice and slow, near the community association, then gradually progress through increasingly demanding environments over 6 weeks. You’ll learn skills and strategies tailored specifically for tighter spaces and increased distractions, and will forge an unshakeable bond with your dog.
You and your dog will have the opportunity to engage consistently with a supportive community of fellow reactive dog owners. And, who knows? Your dogs might even develop new friendships along the way ;-).

To attend classes, dogs must be fully vaccinated or have completed titre testing (uploaded at point of registration).

This program is for graduates of Feisty Fido 1 ages 8 months and up.

Location
This program takes place at different outdoor public spots across Calgary. Location specifics are shared upon registration.
Weather
This outdoor program operates twice yearly, in spring and fall. Classes are held outdoors, so flexibility is key. In case of inclement weather like snowstorms, thunderstorms, or heatwaves, the affected class will be postponed to the end of the series.
