Our Story
ImPAWSible Possible traces its roots back to 2005 when founder Cat chose to leave her job as an airline dispatcher and pursue her passion and entrepreneurial spirit in the pet industry. She began with a small pet clothing business in Calgary, Alberta, and quickly expanded into dog walking and running services. Cat’s love (some may say obsession) with dog training and behaviour was ignited as she met more dogs with behavioural concerns.
As Cat’s passion for training blossomed, she pivoted her focus, eventually founding ImPAWSible Possible. Her commitment to advancement only deepened as the business expanded. When Cat encountered challenges in understanding the dynamics between her clients’ dogs and her own long-term shelter resident, Mouse, despite her extensive education in learning principles and a diverse toolkit, she turned to systems thinking. This fresh perspective allowed her to reframe the challenges and discover effective training and behavior solutions, marking a significant milestone for ImPAWSible Possible.
Since then, ImPAWSible Possible has led the way in dog training and behavior innovation. Today, the company continues to grow, employing a distinct systems approach to empower dogs, owners, and professionals not just in Calgary, but also beyond.
