Our Vision
ImPAWsible Possible is founded on the core belief that our motivations matter, and that positive action inspires further positive action. We strive to reflect this value in everything we do when working with dogs and their owners. We are committed to the goal of conducting business in a socially conscious, ethically responsible manner that allows us to make a genuine contribution to the well-being of our clients, employees, our partners, our community, and the global village.
Our conviction is that the deep bond between a dog and a human being can be one of the most enriching, transformational relationships available that at times can rival even friendship with people. We have chosen to build this social enterprise around assisting others to experience this bond and transformation. ImPAWsible Possible offers services specifically designed to assist our clients in achieving healthy, fulfilling relationships in all areas of life, starting with our canine companions.
As leaders in canine behaviour modification and training, our aspiration is to make a positive, practical difference in the lives of each of our clients—both human and canine—by helping dog owners succeed in altering their dogs’ undesirable behaviours with the use of gentle, benevolent and universal principle-based methods. We aim to empower dog owners by providing them with the holistic knowledge, individual guidance, and positive techniques that will allow them to form harmonious relationships with their dogs, based on trust, respect and natural balance.
The trainers, exercise and rehabilitation facilitators who work with us are chosen not only for their ‘dog sense’, competence, and commitment to ongoing education in the field, but for their dedication to the humanitarian ideals of ImPAWsible Possible
As ImPAWsible Possible grows as a social venture, our vision is focused in two directions. With respect to the social business itself, we plan to extend our company across the nation, while also increasing the number of services we offer. The extended vision of this program includes: trainer mentoring programs; development of a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center for intensive retraining needs; involvement with training initiatives geared towards preparing dogs for service in a variety of situations (individual disabled clients, trauma victims, and emergency and disaster response teams); and a number of community outreach programs involving at-risk groups (teens, members of the Aboriginal community, incarcerated individuals).
Our other focus is, as it has always been, towards actively participating in the shaping of a more supportive, responsive global community. From its origin, our company has been founded by committing a significant portion of seed capital and profits to various humanitarian initiatives across the world. As we grow, we look forward to being able to increase our financial support exponentially. It is our hope that this venture model—a synthesis of sound business practices and socially conscious action—will inspire not only our clients, employees, and partners, but other business owners, to find meaningful ways of “paying it forward”.
